Testimonials
“Hounslow is very lucky to have such an active local Chamber, acting tirelessly on behalf of business and its diverse community. I am pleased to continue to work with them.”

The Hounslow Chamber Business networking lunches are a core part of the Chamber’s events schedule. We hold lunches in Hounslow, Feltham and in Chiswick. They are held in the same venue and all start from 12.45 pm each month. Each month a different company sponsors the lunch. So for the majority of those attending - it is a FREE lunch! The lunches, open to members and non-members, are a great way to promote your business and to see how the Chamber can work for you. |
“A great evening and the weather certainly played its part – not to mention the elegant background music! Thanks to you and Dan for organising such an enjoyable event. Once more we appreciate your planning and organising skills – and where will you take us next, we wonder?”
Brenda Seel, A C N and Tony Hill, Cornerstone Wills

The Chamber has organised evening events at all the borough's main tourist attractions: Chiswick House, Syon House, National Archives, Kew Bridge Steam Museum, Musical Museum, Brentford, Kneller Hall, home of the Royal School of Military Music and even on the Thames foreshore at Chiswick.

“Just a note to say thank you and Dan for a really fab evening. I have never been in the Syon Conservatory and I thought it was magnificent. The evening, weather and music all made it even better. A great Summer party. Well done you!”
Fiona Hamilton-Fairley, The Kids’ Cookery School

Other organisations hold ‘Black Tie’ events. Hounslow Chamber held a ‘Black Wellington’ one, where we gave our members a chance to put their toes in the water and discover London’s best kept secret, namely the Thames. |
“I really enjoyed the ‘do’ last night. Good crowd of people and plenty of space to get around and chat. It was a great venue and lots of fun jumping in and out of Porsches. Also enjoyed the cheese and wine – thought that worked very well.”
Christina Jackson, Action Coach

The Chamber also organises informative seminars and workshops. There have been a number of legal seminars, past topics have included the roles of Directors and employment law. The Chamber and Hounslow Council jointly run the Hounslow Business Forum, which allows the Council to disseminate information to local businesses. In the past there have been Forums on Retail, Tourism, Construction, Food safety legislation, Transport and Freight.

The Chamber, working with Hounslow for Business, has started to offer workshops on various subjects including Presentation Skills and Time Management. Steve Mathews of Hounslow for Business regularly holds a Business Networking seminar geared specifically for new members of the Chamber. As the numbers are limited to 8-10 members it is an extremely beneficial session with the small numbers ensuring individual attention. |
