The Chamber Manager has been working for the Chamber since January 2001. Since her appointment, which started as part-time and is now virtually full-time, the numbers of events and membership have increased dramatically. Sally, the friendly day-to-day face of the Chamber, is the first point of contact for members.

Hanif Khan – President.

Committee member since 2009, Hanif Khan began his career as an IT professional. In 2001 Hanif decided to set-up award winning company, Video Shoot Productions Ltd, a highly successful corporate video production company which also produces television for Sky Sports. For many years Hanif has been serving his local community by giving his spare time to MTA International, a free to air satellite channel.

Gurpreet Singh – Vice President.

Committee member since 2007. President 2009-2010. Gurpreet has experience of working with blue chip organizations as well as small to medium size businesses in UK, USA and India. He offers Online Business Advice and Consultancy Services through his company Purple Orchard. Gurpreet works as a Business Advisor for Harrow in Business and also runs seminars for Harrow in Business and Hounslow For Business. He is a founder member of Network Curry, a business networking club.

Martin Goldthorpe

Committee member since 2008, Martin runs The Best of Hounslow Borough, a local online web directory that champions the best local businesses in the Borough, it is linked to over 400 other local sites across the UK. Martin also organises regular evening networking events across the Borough for local SME’s.

Ela Grabinska-Raubusch

Committee member since 2006. President 2008-2009. Ela has extensive experience of running businesses at board level, as an employee of the company and as a business owner. She is the Vice-Chairman of the Hounslow Education Business Partnership and is a Director of Hounslow for Business, the business advice arm of the Chamber. She is also a member of Hounslow Chamber Women. Ela currently runs Ace Handyman together with her husband as a family business.

Hugh Howell

Committee member since 2003. President - 2005-2006. Hugh is a Chartered Certified Accountant and an Associate of the Institute for Independent Business. For the past twenty-five years he has acted as a Director in various small and medium sized businesses and is presently Managing Director of H R Howell Limited, a company that provides solutions to business problems for small and medium sized enterprises. Hugh operates as a sole practitioner, preparing accounts and tax returns for small businesses. Hugh is a director of Hounslow for Business, the business advice arm of the Chamber.

James Le May

Committee member since 2009 James is a Chartered Building Surveyor with more than 25 years broad based experience. As the Principal of Le May & Co. Chartered Surveyors for many years and now as managing director, he has a diverse portfolio, dealing with residential, commercial and institutional buildings together with landlord and tenant matters. James is also appropriately qualified and experienced to undertake Expert Witness work.

Amanda Magagnin – Hon Treasurer

Committee member since 2006, Amanda is a Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Adviser, and partner with Charles Stuart LLP in Hounslow and Datchet. Charles Stuart LLP has been operating in West London for over 40 years, mainly acting for family businesses and subsidiaries of overseas companies. Amanda is a tax specialist in particular dealing with property and overseas matters.

Steve Mathews

Committee member since 2004.
President - 2006-2007. Steve is an accredited business advisor and MBA with some twenty years of genuine business experience in a variety of roles and businesses. He runs Barnes Business Consulting which provides business advice and mentoring to small and medium sized businesses in South and West London. He also prepares business plans for clients and helps to secure finance in order to develop their business.  Steve is a director of Hounslow for Business, the business advice arm of the Chamber.

Jackie Patel

Committee member since 2008. Jackie was admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives in July 1979. Since 1993 she has been with Kotecha and Company and specialises in commercial and residential conveyancing. She also assists in expanding the client base for the company. For the past 5 years, Jackie has been a voluntary member of EACH, a registered charity that helps people overcome substance abuse. She is also a keen golfer.

Les Robinson

Committee member since 1996. President – 1997 – 2004. Les is a retired management consultant. He is a non-executive director of West London Business, where he represents all the local borough chambers. Les is actively involved with the Hounslow Education Business Partnership, and represents the Chamber on the Hounslow Borough Community Police Consultative Group.
